Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my web page.
I am a third year mechanical engineering student at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

My professional interests include structural design, naval architecture and computer programming.  In 1989 I completed the three year Naval Architecture Technology program at the Marine Institute in St. John's, Newfoundland.  From 1989 to 1995 I worked for private naval contractors and the DND. I was involved mainly with naval ship modifications and refits.  I left my last position at the CFB Esquimalt Naval Engineering Unit to come to UVic and pursue a mechanical engineering degree so I could diversify and add to my practical marine experience. As my resume indicates, I am currently working in the marine industry and am employed with a local Naval Architect on a contract basis.

My personal interests are home brewing, camping, cooking and playing electric bass.
