Description

Study of different syntactic and semantic aspects by means of observation, description and analysis of natural language data. Examination of well-known French phenomena through the lens of different approaches (generative syntax, cognitive grammar, etc.). Development of practical skills.

    • Complete all of:
      • FRAN200 - Introduction to French Linguistics (1.5)
    • 1.5 units of 100- or 200-level LING course
    • or permission of the department.
