EPHE442 - Exercise Management of Chronic Disease

Description

The role of exercise in the management of chronic medical conditions such cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, metabolic disorders and cancer is explored. Emphasis on pre-participation health screening, pharmacotherapy, assessment and prescription for each condition discussed. Laboratory component focuses on the the practical application of assessing and prescribing safe exercise for those living with medical conditions.
