Description

An introduction to the sociology of moral panic. Topics may include mass shootings, rave dance parties, school dress codes, 19th-century anti-masturbation crusades, child murderers, racially-motivated police violence, satanic ritual abuse, climate change, reconciliation politics, public shaming and mass- and social-media claims and frames.
