CYC211 - Supervised Practicum I
Description
An opportunity to practice evolving CYC skills in an applied setting. Students work directly with children/youth in a supervised practice situation in order to promote professional skill acquisition and integrate the knowledge obtained through coursework. Students are required to complete 150 hours. Students will also become aware of ethical issues as they arise in practice settings and will develop a framework for developing sound ethical praxis.
