EPHE439 - Study of Gymnastics

Description

Drawing on Laban's four elements of movement (space awareness, body awareness, qualities and relationships) for analyzing and teaching creative movement activities, this course explores the application of these elements to the study of gymnastics. Designed to develop each participant's level of performance, ability to analyze skills and understanding of movement concepts.

  • Complete 1 of the following
    • admission to BEd (Elementary Curriculum) program
    • admission to BEd (Secondary Curriculum) program with physical education teaching area
    • admission to BA program in Recreation and Health Education
    • admission to BSc program in Kinesiology
    • permission of the school.
