Description

Developing child care programs for children (0-2 years). Theories of caring and attachment as a foundation to care routines are studied. Students explore culturally specific approaches through consultation with respected community members. Using an ecological model that situates child care within social systems, students develop partnerships with families and community networks and explore ways to access resources within and beyond their communities.
