HSTR426A - Veterans' Oral History
Description
Explores the theoretical issues related to doing oral history as well as providing students the opportunity to interview veterans from all three branches of the Armed Forces who have taken part in any of Canada's wars from WWII to Afghanistan. In interviewing veterans, students are assisting the Veterans' Oral History Project, which is sponsored by the Royal United Services' Institute.

- Credit will be granted for only one of HSTR 426A, HIST 394 (if taken in the same topic).
Recommendations
- At least 1.5 units of HSTR courses in military history with a minimum grade of B strongly recommended prior to HSTR 426A.
