EDCI749 - General Methods of Second Language Teaching

Description

An opportunity to develop abilities in teaching and testing the language features (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and cultural component) and the language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and to familiarize students with current second language teaching approaches through the study of representative materials and techniques. Emphasis is placed on practical classroom techniques and the challenges particular to teaching second languages.
