MATH100 - Calculus I
Description
Review of analytic geometry; functions and graphs; limits; derivatives; techniques and applications of differentiation; antiderivatives; the definite integral and area; logarithmic and exponential functions; trigonometric functions; Newton's, Simpson's and trapezoidal methods; l'Hopital's rule.

- Credit will be granted for only one of MATH 100, MATH 102, MATH 109.
Prerequisites
- Complete 1 of the following
- Earn a minimum grade of C+ in each of the following:
- MATH120 - Precalculus Mathematics (1.5)
- Completed Pre-Calculus 12 or Principles of Mathematics 12 with a minimum grade of B (73%)
- or permission of the department.
Recommendations
- A passing grade in Calculus 12 or equivalent course recommended prior to MATH 100, since MATH 100 expects some previous exposure to Calculus.
