Description

Orients students to the field of CYC. The structure of services and supports is explored within the context of a specific community. Students meet local CYC professionals and visit programs and agencies serving children, youth, and their families. Elders and helping professionals address the service needs and current responses within the community. Students practice direct observation in formal and informal settings and are supervised in making informed interpretations.
