SOCW200B - Introduction to the Critical Analysis of Social Welfare in Canada
Description
Students critically analyze the current and historical development of Canadian social welfare policy, and explore the impact of economic and social restructuring trends on patterns of exclusion, structural inequities and increased needs for social protection. Students become familiar with the ways that systems of oppression have intersected to produce a particular focus on some social problems and not others.
