Description

Introduces Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, non-status) students to knowledge and skills necessary for working with Indigenous communities and organizations, or with campus-based academic researchers, through a Research Apprenticeship (IS 320) or Community Internship (IS 321). Provides an introduction to Western and Indigenous research methodologies.

  • One of IS 101, IS 200A, CYC 230, GNDR 203, POLI 263, WS 207 recommended prior to IS 310D.
