Topics may include zoonotic diseases, environmental impact on animal and human health, research with animals, animals in service and entertainment, the human-animal bond, animals as sentinels for human and environmental health, animals as food and animals in culture.

Prerequisites

  • Complete all of the following
    • 6.0 units of 300- or 400-level BIOL, EPHE, or MEDS courses
    • a minimum sessional GPA of 6.5 on the most recent applicable session
    • permission of the division.
