Description

An introduction to the comparative study of contemporary Canadian Literature in both official languages. Classes are conducted in English; readings and assignments can be done in either language. However, students taking a Combined Major in English and French (Canadian Literature) must read the texts in the original. May include works by George Bowering, Daphne Marlatt, Lola Lemire Tostevin, Jacques Poulin, Tomson Highway and Nicolas Dickner. Students enrolled in FRAN 417 must submit all written assignments in French.
