Advanced study of the fundamental concepts related to second language acquisition (SLA). Research themes related to the acquisition of Chinese as an additional language. Examines learner language, language learning motivations, language learning strategies and other factors pertinent to SLA and the theory and practice of acquisition of Chinese as an additional language.
