HLTH360 - Health Literacy and System Navigation

Description

Health literacy, the capacity to understand and use health related knowledge, has implications for people`s ability to make healthy decisions and play an active role in managing their own health. This course examines ways to improve literacy and communication to enhance self-care including e-health literacy and the increasing use of the internet in access to health information. The importance of health system navigation in the integration of primary and community care is explored.
