EDCI456 - Community Development Project

Description

Designed to provide students an opportunity to develop and implement a school-based community development project. Working in groups, with a faculty mentor, students design projects that reflect the principles and themes of community action and positive social change. Sample projects could include environmental protection and restoration initiatives, community based violence prevention programs, home- and school-based media literacy campaigns or multicultural and cultural sensitivity programs.
