SOCI202 - Constructing Social Problems
Description
Examines the social construction of social problems. Topics may include terrorism, breast cancer awareness, Halloween sadism, surveillance, public shaming, mass and social media framing, infectious disease, homelessness, crime, drug use, police violence and debates about childhood vaccines.
