POLI440 - Understanding Global Security
Description
Introduces theoretical approaches to make sense of various and contradictory contemporary understandings of the term ‘security’. Examines security politics through the lens of issues including military and defence practice, migration, climate change, human security, humanitarian intervention, complex peace operations and inter-state competition.
