An examination of directions taken in postwar art. Emphasis on the demise of the Modernist movement and the emergence of Postmodernism. Singled out for investigation are such areas as Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism, Pop Art, conceptual and performance art, environmental art and photo-based practices.
