AHVS312 - Gender, Identity and Film
Description
Examines representations of women and by women, in a variety of film forms (experimental, documentary, narrative) and within a range of historical periods. Emphasis is placed on feminist theories of representation, visual pleasure, spectatorship and subjectivity and on analyses of key films.
