Examines historical and contemporary politics of the Arctic region. Topics include geopolitics, international law, political economy, climate change and Indigenous peoples. Discusses how the Arctic reflects global patterns and remains a unique region of the world. Considers the global and regional perspectives on the Arctic and issues in northern Canada.
