ED-D405 - Advanced Educational Exceptionality

Description

Intended to familiarize teachers with the needs of children and adolescents with varying special learning needs. A major focus is on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Topics include: the history of special education services; legal and ethical issues in the provision of services to students with special needs; special and inclusive education policies and procedures; learner characteristics; working with parents and families of children with a wide range of special needs.
