Explores a range of approaches and emerging methods for health data analysis for improving healthcare. The preparation and integration of health data across a range of health information systems is detailed. Application of data analysis methods for improving health care processes in a variety of settings is described, including clinical applications and use of health data for health informatics practice, research and education.
