Description
Examines cinematic depictions of world collapse and catastrophe in relation to apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic visions. Content may include recurrent themes and motifs in films depicting "the end of the world," the fears and desires raised by spectacle and spectatorship, and concluding messages about cinematic visions for the future.
