ENGL310 - Practical Criticism

Description

A seminar designed to extend awareness of how style and form contribute to meaning in literary works; poetic, narrative and dramatic technique; representative theoretical approaches and their application; the interdependency of literary technique and critical interpretation. Prospective Honours students are strongly advised to take this course in their second year. Students are allowed to select this course only if they have the approval of the Honours Adviser.
