HINF140 - Introduction to the Canadian Health Care System

Description

A comprehensive and critical understanding of the Canadian health care system, its development and current problems and issues. Introduces students to the origins, structure and key issues of the provincial and federal roles in health care and provides students with an integrated orientation regarding its major components. Focuses on the Canadian health care system but provides a comparison of the Canadian system with that of other countries with regards to the structure, health care delivery and health outcomes.
