Provides opportunities for applying the skills, knowledge and values essential for interprofessional practice with children and families. Explores the rationale for and a critical analysis of interprofessional practice through a decolonizing, anti-racist and social justice lens. Features the contributions of professionals and other knowledge holders in the circles of complex care often required for child and family practice.

  • Students not majoring in Social Work but in their third- or fourth year may request permission to register in the course.

    • SOCW311 - Understanding Oppression (1.5)
    • SOCW312 - Collaborative Conversations: Working within Communities (1.5)
