Description

An intensive study of film as document of time, place and action. Influence of social and artistic context is considered. Attention is largely directed to Canadian documentary films, a leader in this genre today. Films studied may include works by Flaherty, Grierson, Lorentz, Riefenstahl, Wiseman, National Film Board.
