ENGL379 - British Fiction and Non-Fiction of the Early 19th Century
Description
Prose writings (novels, autobiography, essays, short stories) of the early 19th century. Focus on works by Jane Austen, Sir Walter Scott, Mary Shelley, James Hogg, Thomas DeQuincey, and the Bröntes; Gothic novels, historical novels and novels of manners.
